How _cyber_grc_collective started

Several former CISOs moved into independent freelance work after years of executive responsibility. We repeatedly saw broakers add unreasonable fees on top of our agreed hourly rates. In many cases, the same broakers transferred 100% delivery risk and liability to the consultant. That model is not fair and does not create value for clients. We also saw organisations hesitate to contract directly with consultants. We are changing that by giving clients a trusted structure with vetted cyber and GRC specialists. Consultants should receive the right rate for their expertise and responsibility. Clients should receive lower-cost, higher-quality delivery than through broakers or consultancies. We also define and execute projects with clear governance and accountability anchored in _cyber-grc_collective. The _cyber_grc_collective setup is designed to be better for clients, consultants, and outcomes. On top of this _cyber_grc_collective is a not-for-profit collaborative model where profit is reinvested to benefit the consultants.
